About Me
Hello there! 👋
I’m Viktor Holovin — a Maintenance Technician at EOS Engineering & Consulting S.r.l., with a not-so-secret passion for technology, Linux, and all things DevOps.
By day, I keep electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems running smoothly (sometimes with a wrench, sometimes with duct tape). By night, I experiment with Linux, Docker, and automation — because, let’s be honest, making a server reboot itself at 3 AM is strangely satisfying.
The Journey So Far
I started out in heavy industry — mines, machines, welding, and big tools that make sparks. Over the years, I’ve added a love for IT to my toolbox: maintaining computers, tinkering with servers, and running my own blog full of tutorials and fun experiments.
Why This Blog Exists
This blog is my creative outlet where I:
- Share Linux adventures (Arch Linux included, because why make life simple?).
- Write courses & tutorials about programming basics and DevOps experiments.
- Add a good dose of humor, because even debugging feels lighter with a smile.
Fun Facts
- I’ve lived in Ukraine, Sweden, Poland, and now Italy. Verdict: coffee tastes different, but Wi-Fi disappoints everywhere.
- I once fixed a machine during the day and a server during the night. Both were equally noisy.
- I had brain surgery after a cycling accident — so yes, if I forget something, I have the ultimate excuse.

The Serious Stuff (Well, Sort of)
I’m not here to claim big titles. I’m simply a technician who loves tech and enjoys sharing what I learn. If you’re here for practical tutorials, Linux love, or just a good laugh at my mistakes — welcome aboard!
